Pavitra Punia Marriage To Businessman Gets Postponed To Six Months For THIS Reason

Bigg Boss 14 fame Pavitra Punia, who recently got engaged to a US-based businessman in October 2025 now has her wedding postponed to six months and the reason stands to be a family emergency. It has been

reported that though the preparations of her wedding were at its peak for the month of March, she lost her nani (grandmother) in December last year and hence 'the family will have to adjust things.' For the unversed, she dropped their dreamy beach-side engagement pictures on October 22, 2025.

Pavitra Punia wedding postponed

During an interview with Hindustan Times, Pavitra Punia has confirmed that her wedding has been postponed by six months due to an unfortunate loss of her grandmother aka nani in December 2025 and hence their families have decided to move the their big day ahead by a few months. She has further mentioned that the new dates have not been finalised yet but "nothing before August for sure, as we've delayed it for a minimum of 6 months. It was unexpected, and we're trying to cope with it."

The TV star had a dreamy beach side engagement setup where she was seen wearing an orange bodycon dress with golden jewelry and hair sleek back in a bun. Her now fiance was in a white shirt and black pants perfectly complimenting her. Announcing the big news, she wrote, "Locked in.
