Mardaani 3 Trailer Out: Rani Mukerji’s Fierce Shivani Shivaji Roy Returns In Hard-Hitting Rescue Drama

3 Trailer: Yash Raj Films (YRF) have just released the trailer of the third edition in Rani Mukerji's Mardaani series. The film will see the National Award Winning Actress back as the fierce Shivani Shivaji Roy as she takes on a new case to rescue young girls from a trafficking nexus. The film, which comes after the 2014 Mardaani and the 2019 Mardaani 2 is slated to hit theatres on January 30. YRF released the new trailer hours after sharing a note on social media to celebrate 30 years of Rani Mukerji in the industry.

Taking to social media, YRF shared the trailer of Mardaani 3, alongside the caption, "It is a race against time & there will be no mercy. Shivani Shivaji Roy is back to rescue girls who go missing without a trace. Mardaani 3 Trailer out now. #Mardaani3 releasing only in cinemas near you on 30th Jan."

The gritty trailer introduces audiences to a country which worships goddesses and trafficks them as well. Rani Mukerji is seen being inducted into the NIA, but is not given any cooling period as she has to urgently take on the girl child trafficking case. The trailer also introduces audiences to Amma, a scary woman who is the leader of the nexus trafficking the young girls. The gory trailer uses visuals of child abuse and even the burning of innocent children to drive home the point. Mardaani 3 Release DateMardaani 3 recently got preponed. The Rani Mukerji film which was earlier supposed to release on February 27 is now arriving almost a month earlier on January 30. Abhiraj Minawala has stepped in as the director. In an official statement, Rani had shared, "I'm proud to essay the character of this feisty cop again in Mardaani 3 as a tribute to all the unsung, brave, self-sacrificing cops who work tirelessly every single day to keep us safe."
