Zubeen Garg dies
Zubeen Garg died on September 19, 2025, in Singapore. The singer went there for the North India Film Festival. Though the initial reasons stated for his death were drowning while swimming but his death later took a strange turn as there were suspicions of earlier poisoning noted during his post-mortem at Delhi. Though the investigation is still ongoing, the Special Director General of Police of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Munna Prasad Gupta, recently made a statement saying, "The investigation is almost complete. The details will be given in the charge sheet." So far, 7 arrests have been made, with over 300 witnesses under examination.
