In a brief post announcing the film’s worldwide theatrical release, he wrote, “Patriot in cinemas worldwide from May 1, 2026.” Patriot will face competition at the box office, clashing with Varavu, starring Joju George and directed by Shaji Kailas, which is set to release on the same date.Both stars have exciting projects lined up. Mohanlal will next be seen in Drishyam 3, directed by Jeethu Joseph, slated for release on May 21, 2026. Meanwhile, Mammootty has completed shooting for Padayaatra, directed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan. The film marks their reunion after 32 years and is eagerly awaited by his fans.
