Following the immense success of Season 1 and 2, this season features a larger, more international storyline, with reports of a mid-2027 release window.

In the first-look poster, Jenna Ortega, who portrays the titular character Wednesday, is shown standing in front of the Eiffel Tower. Wednesday Season 1 is a supernatural mystery following Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) at Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts. After being expelled from school for a prank involving a piranha, he investigates a town-killing monster (Hyde), uncovers the school's dark secrets, and stops a resurrection plot; all while making new friends and experiencing supernatural visions.Wednesday struggles with her roommate Enid's cheerfulness but they become friends. She forms a love triangle with barista Tyler and moody student Xavier. Meanwhile, Wednesday discovers the monster is actually her love interest, Tyler, who is being controlled by her botany teacher, Ms. Thornhill (Laurel Gates). At the finale, Thornhill resurrects Joseph Crackstone, a 17th-century outcast-hating pilgrim, to destroy Nevermore. Wednesday defeats them both, saves the school, and goes on vacation, but a new, unknown threat is watching her.
