Wednesday Season 1 is a supernatural mystery following Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) at Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts. After being expelled from school for a prank involving a piranha, he investigates a town-killing monster (Hyde), uncovers the school's dark secrets, and stops a resurrection plot; all while making new friends and experiencing supernatural visions.Wednesday struggles with her roommate Enid's cheerfulness but they become friends. She forms a love triangle with barista Tyler and moody student Xavier. Meanwhile, Wednesday discovers the monster is actually her love interest, Tyler, who is being controlled by her botany teacher, Ms. Thornhill (Laurel Gates). At the finale, Thornhill resurrects Joseph Crackstone, a 17th-century outcast-hating pilgrim, to destroy Nevermore. Wednesday defeats them both, saves the school, and goes on vacation, but a new, unknown threat is watching her.

On the other hand, Wednesday Season 2 sees Wednesday Addams return to Nevermore Academy for a darker, more complex year to investigate a new, bone-chilling supernatural mystery while navigating friendships and old adversaries.
