circulating that Akshaye Khanna had returned to the sets to shoot additional scenes for the sequel. However, new information has now emerged and contrary to what was being reported, there is no new shoot involving Akshaye at this stage, even though he remains an important part of the film’s narrative.
Akshaye Khanna Not Shooting New Scenes
According to Pinkvilla, Akshaye is not filming any fresh material for Dhurandhar 2. Sources close to the production have clarified that while the actor does appear in the sequel, all his portions were completed much earlier during the film’s initial schedules. His role is said to be limited to select flashback sequences that play a key role in the story’s progression.
“There is no additional filming happening with Akshaye Khanna at the moment. His portions were wrapped earlier and are part of key flashback moments in the narrative,” the report added.
