man Himanshu Jangra, who's in the news for the Rs 370 biryani row, has finally broken his silence amid the growing controversy and backlash surrounding his recent statements on comedian Pranit More's show. After the incident triggered heavy flak on social media, he was fired from his job. Recently, the Maharashtra Cyber Police filed an FIR against him and others. Speaking about the objectionable remarks, Himanshu said that he had improvised parts of the story he shared during the show and admitted that some of his words were inappropriate. He added that he never intended to hurt anyone and expressed regret over how things unfolded.
Rs 370 Biryani Guy Himanshi Jangra Breaks Silence
During a video chat with his former employer,
Himanshu said that he had been facing severe trolling on Instagram for the past two weeks, but his family and people in his hometown were unaware of the situation. He added that later, his uncle learned about the controversy and contacted him, after which he asked him not to inform others, hoping the issue would die down on its own. He further said that the situation worsened when people in his neighbourhood informed his parents, which led to tension at home, especially after he was fired from his job. Himanshu said he regretted going on the show and felt very sorry for the distress caused to his family.
He also admitted that the story he shared on the show was not completely true. Jangra said,
"Maine joh waha pe story batayi, usmein joh ladki ki baat kar raha hoon main… ha maine ek ladki ko date kiya tha… but sir joh maine waha pe bataya woh totally true nahi tha. Woh ek improvise karke story batayi thi maine wahan par. Kyunki mere se pehle joh log wahan pe stories bata rahe the wahan bhi kaafi aise type ki stories batayi thi."

He apologised for using inappropriate words and said he had no wrong intention behind it.
Pranit More's Fresh Apology
This comes hours after
Pranit issued a fresh apology. The stand-up comedian said that he deserves the hate for not stopping Himanshu from making derogatory remarks on the show. He said that while he was doing crowd work with the 23-year-old man, several inappropriate things were said, others were laughing and he also got carried away.He admitted that it was a major mistake and said he could have stopped Himanshu and taken a stand at that moment, but he failed to do so.
