was a star-studded night at the 10th Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo, Japan, on May 23, 2026. For the fourth year in a row, voice actress Sally Amaki and Jon Kabira hosted the anime event. Bollywood star and anime fan Rashmika Mandanna represented India alongside other top presenters, including Grammy winner The Weeknd, Black Panther actor Winston Duke, Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA, K-pop singers TEN and BamBam, actors Asuka Saito, Kasumi Arimura and Nanase Nishino, cosplayer Enako, comedy duo Mitorizu, gaming host Nyvi Estephan and rapper Young Miko.

The night belonged to global hit titles My Hero Academia Final Season, One Piece and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle as they walked away with the biggest awards of the ceremony. Indian voice artist Abhishek Sharma won the Best Voice Artist Performance (Hindi) award for his performance as Jinshi from The Apothecary Diaries Season 2. Rashmika presented the Best Animation category along with Duke.

As per Crunchyroll, fans cast 73 million votes from around the world for the Anime Awards, setting a new record. The top voting countries were Brazil, Germany, India, Mexico and the US, proving that anime is a big global business.The awards ceremony included performances by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, which opened the event while Dean Fujioka, Yoko Takahashi, Pornograffitti and Asian Kung-Fu Generation also performed. Director Tatsuya Nagamine was given the Global Impact Award for his work on Dragon Ball Super and One Piece, among other titles. The filmmaker could not attend so animator Masayuki Sato accepted on his behalf.
