According to early box office estimates reported by industry tracker Sacnilk, within just six days of release, the Hashir starrer has collected Rs 40.20 crore net in India. On the global front, the Savin Sa directed film has already touched Rs 91.46 crore worldwide, reflecting its wide appeal. Kerala is still the biggest reason for its success, as a lot of people from the state come to see it. The film starring Hashir, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak in the leading roles is maintaining, strong hold there has played a major role in keeping its overall collections stable.
Tuesday’s numbers further spotlight this trend.
Vaazha 2 ran across 1,931 shows and recorded an overall occupancy of 69%. The film's evening shows performed well, and the movie's occupancy is recorded 68.58%, which suggests that word-of-mouth is working in favour of the film. Kerala alone generated around Rs 7.40 crore gross on the day, while Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and other regions chipped in with smaller but consistent contributions.
