The dropping of this plan will increase the expenses of the people who were using it in their secondary SIM for calling purposes only. As of now, the entry-level plan being offered by Airtel is available for Rs 199 that, of course, brings more benefits related to data and other stuff. The Airtel Rs 199 plan comes with features like 100 SMS per day, 2GB data, and unlimited voice calling, along with 28 days of validity. Once the users consume the 2GB data, they will be charged 50 paisa per MB for internet usage. Furthermore, Airtel is offering additional benefits like Perplexity AI Pro subscription and free Hello Tunes. However, the additional benefits don't serve a lot of purpose for the actual users of the Rs 189 plan.
