In a conversation with The Indian Express, the veteran actress shared how
Dharmendra's demise it 'too much' for her to take in and how she misses him 'every minute.' She said, "I was very deeply in sorrow; still, that is there. But I am trying to get out of it, because it is too much for me to take. I am strong, that’s what everybody says… I am strong, but sometimes you… I have to go on, I have to."
Further, she added, "He was back at home during the last few days. After going to the hospital, he was back home. Till that time, I am sure he was alright. I felt he would be around for one or two more years, definitely." "We were together for 57 years. I can’t imagine a life without him; I miss him every minute. It’s not that we were together all the time. He would always ask, ‘Where are you? When are you coming? Are you coming back? Then I am also coming back from Lonavala.’ He would come and be here with me and the family. I feel sad without him. When will I meet him again?" the
