Dhurandhar's mega success has brought appreciation for every team member. Considering its starcast was one of the high points of the Aditya Dhar directed spy film, audience was left highly impressed with how casting director Mukesh Chhabra managed to bring together an ensemble that seemed to have infused life into their characters, and not just resembling the real life people who inspired them. Be it Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, San jay Dutt, Danish Pandor or Sara Arjun, every actor has been hearing only good words from the viewers.Notably, the movie also has a slew of TV actors who've surprised us, including Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera or Saumya Tandon. Chhabra reflected on his job of casting, and how it was essential
to keep working, be it any kind of opportunity. In an X (formerly Twitter) post on December 13, he addressed the difference between a TV actor and a film actor.
Mukesh Chhabra's take on TV actors Vs film actors
Chhabra wrote, "You know, I just want to put this out clearly. People often ask me if there’s a difference between a TV actor and a film actor. My answer has always been no. Television actors are extremely special to me. I’ve found some of my finest performers through television. My advice to actors who keep asking me, “Film karni hai”— act as an actor. Just keep working. Don’t wait. OTT, television, films, theatre, stage—do whatever opportunity comes your way. Because in the end, work is more important than the medium. For me, an actor is an actor. Talent is universal. And lastly, thank you to all the actors—for your hard work, your patience, and your belief in the craft. I truly respect and admire each one of you."Mukesh Chhabra is known for his brilliant casting projects like
Bajrangi Bhaijan,
Bombay Velvet,
Dangal,
Scam 1992,
Laal Singh Chaddha,
Jawan,
Dunki, and more.
