While showrunnes Duffer Brothers had previously revealed a set of chapters audience must watch again, audience has picked two specific episodes which they believe will have a deep reference in its finale. Now, these two episodes have gone on to become the most re-watched ones across its seasons, cementing the impact this Netflix blockbuster. Stranger Things 5 Volume 2 is gearing up to release on Christmas Day (December 25) and its big finale on the New Year (December 31).

Stranger Things' most re-watched episodes and scenes

Variety reported that the most-rewatched scenes in the show's history take place in Season 3 and Season 4. The first one is in Season 4 Episode 7 when Nancy (Natalia Dyer) gets possessed by Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) and falls into a trance. The other one being in Season 3 Episode 8 when Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Suzie (Gabriella Pizzolo) sing the now iconic performance on Never Ending Story theme song together.

The impact of Stranger Things on pop culture over the last nine years is unparalleled. While it broke streaming records, its fifth and final season took its viewership to greatest heights. So much so, that its Season 5 Volume 1 registered Netflix's biggest-ever opening week for an English-language series. Its premiere on November 26 broke the Nielsen record with the biggest weekly viewing total ever for a streaming show. In less than a month of its release, and just days before Volume 2 premiers, the streamer has claimed the entire Stranger Things series (all seasons) has already crossed 1.2 billion total views.

Stranger Things contributed to US economy

Owing to its collaborations with brands, including the snack company Nabisco which released a limited-edition 'Stranger Things Chip's Ahoy' cookies ahead of Season 5, the campaign reached 11 billion impressions bringing huge business. As per reports, the show has so far created more than 8,000 production jobs in the U.S. and contributed $1.4 billion to its national GDP ever since it debuted in 2016.
