Deshmukh’s much-awaited bilingual film, Raja Shivaji, is all set to hit the screens on May 1, 2026. The most anticipated teaser of the film shot in Marathi and Hindi was screened before the screening of Dhurandhar 2, aka Dhurandhar The Revenge. Now, it has officially been released by the makers on social media on March 31. In the film, Riteish is playing the role of Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and he looks promising in each frame of the promo. Raja Shivaji has a powerful star cast, including Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan, Bhagyashree and so on.

In the promo shared by Riteish Deshmukh, one can see Mahesh Manjrekar being killed by Mughals. He tells them that when the Marathas understand their intentions, they will definitely conquer the Mughals. Then, Riteish Deshmukh makes a grand entry as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the teaser, Riteish Deshmukh impresses everyone with his body language, performance and dialogue delivery.
