how practicing one's right to vote makes a citizen the "real hero," he later went on to show a kind gesture towards a fan that proved his words. In a video that is now flooding social media, Akshay is seen exchanging pleasantries with a fan who asks for a certain help from the Bollywood superstar. What Akshay tells her is now winning the internet. Several film stars were spotted across various centres of Mumbai, trooping in to cast their vote.
Akshay Kumar's kind gesture towards a female fan
In the video that has now gone viral, Akshay is seen approaching his car when a female fan appears from the crowd and utters to him, "Papa karze mein hain (Papa is in debt)." As the girl touches Akshay's feet asking for help, the actor holds her hand and replies, "Aap number de do apna (Send me your number)." He tells her to visit his office.

Akshay had visited the Gandhi Shikshan Bhavan in Juhu to cast his vote for the BMC polls 2026. According to PTI, he told the paparazzi, "Today is the BMC election, and, as Mumbaikars, this is the day when we have the remote control. Therefore, all the people of Mumbai must come out and vote, rather than complaining later about things not being in good shape. Everyone should vote to elect the right people. If you want to be the real hero of Mumbai, then instead of dialogues, you should come and vote."Other Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, Vivek Oberoi, and others are also expected to come to the polling booths to cast their votes later in the day.
