Madhuri Dixit's Mrs Deshpande Review
The in-house review of Times Now of
Mrs Deshpande reads: The strength of
Mrs Deshpande lies in its writing. The story, adapted from the French thriller La Mante, is well-written and to the point. And that makes for an immersive viewing experience. There are moments in the series which leave you on the edge of your seat.
Mrs Deshpande also scores high on direction. Director Nagesh Kukunoor maintains a clear vision throughout the three episodes, balancing character development with plot progression. The director doesn't let one element overpower the other. Moreover, the direction never loses focuses. Madhuri Dixit delivers a convincing and controlled performances
Mrs Deshpande. Rather than relying on dramatic outbursts, she lets her expressive eyes and dialogue delivery do the talking. There are several moments in the series where she completely commands the screen, especially in her first interaction with Hosh.
