Allu Arjun Upcoming Movies: Atlee Sci-Fi Adventure To Lokesh Kanagaraj's AA23

Allu Arjun announced his next film with Lokesh Kanagaraj on Sankranti/Pongal (January 14). Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the music for the grand spectacle. The

teaser video was unveiled on social media to announce the collaboration. Arjun, who is currently in the middle of Atlee’s sci-fi film, has surprised his fans by teaming up with another director who has given big-ticket action thrillers, such as Kaithi, Vikram, Leo and the latest Coolie. With the announcement teaser, the makers promise AA23 to be another milestone in the Telugu heartthrob’s filmography. Allu Arjun now has three major movies to his kitty. Allu Arjun’s upcoming movies include Pushpa 3, directed by Sukumar. The actor takes a leap of faith with Atlee’s multicrore sci-fi film co-starring Deepika Padukone. Now, the film with Lokesh has upped the excitement. Here are the details of Arjun’s upcoming films.

AA22 X A6

For the first time, Allu Arjun is teaming up with Atlee, who has often worked with the Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay. According to reports, the film's budget is between Rs 700-800 crore. While Deepika Padukone has been confirmed to play the female lead, reports state that Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor are also an integral part of the film. The title of the movie is yet to be announced. The working title is AA22 x A6, which stands for Allu Arjun’s 22nd film and Atlee’s 6th directorial. This project is supposed to be a two-part franchise.

AA23

Lokesh Kanagaraj is known for his big-scale, campy and adrenaline-pumping action dramas. His Lokesh Cinematic Universe is famous because of his distinct storytelling and world-building. After veterans like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Thalapathy Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Karthi and Fahadh Faasil, he is set to begin working with Allu Arjun on AA23, the superstar’s 23rd film. The schedule is yet to be laid out. Whether this movie joins LCU, only time shall tell.

Pushpa 3

After the mammoth success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun will be returning as Pushparaj in the third part of the Sukumar directorial. The shoot is yet to begin and it is unlikely to release in 2026 or even 2027. As per reports, Vijay Deverakonda will be the new entrant. Pushpa 3 would bring Rashmika Mandanna back as Srivalli, a popular on-screen character. The story will pick up where the sequel left off. The makers hinted at an explosive part 3 of the blockbuster franchise.
