Rockstar
Games surprised everyone just a few months ago by announcing and dropping Red Dead Redemption on smartphones. And now, leaks suggest that the bad boy of gaming is set to drop yet another banger before the launch of much awaited GTA 6. According to multiple leaks and rumours, Rockstar Games is planning to drop GTA 5 on iPhones. Now, nothing has been confirmed by the studio, but considering the unhinged nature of Rockstar, anything is possible.
Is It Possible?
Anything and everything is possible for Rockstar Games, to be precise. We already have GTA definitive edition, consisting of three GTA games available on both Android devices and iOS devices available on Google Play Store and Apple App store respectively. Now, keeping in mind that GTA 6 is coming in a few months and Rockstar will leave no stone unturned to grab all the attention, even if it comes from mobile gamers, the company can surely drop GTA 5 on phones just to flex. Leaks have it that the game is coming as soon as April 23, 2026, on Apple App Store, and that could be the biggest cap of this year because Rockstar is not just going to silently drop a game that massive (yes, even after 13 years, it is massive, and no one can deny it), without any fanfare.
PS6 Handheld Leaks Suggest It Will Surpass Xbox Series S, Here Is Why
What Is Going On With GTA 6?
According to the last official notification, GTA 6 or Grand Theft Auto will be launching for the current generation consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. The game will bring two new leads - Jason and Lucia, trying their best to navigate their lives through the streets of Vice City. All in all, the game is going to be the biggest of the decade, keeping in mind that Rockstar has already spend close to $3 billion on the development, marketing aside.
