and his wife, Priya Mohan, were blessed with a baby girl on April 20. Ahead of her first month birthday, the celebrity couple announced her name on social media. Sharing a glimpse of the little one, Atlee and Priya named her Miyou. Before welcoming their baby girl, they were parents to Meer, who is now three years old. Priya announced her second pregnancy in January with an adorable picture featuring Atlee and Meer. Miyou was born to the couple amid the shoot of her father’s next film, Raaka.

Atlee and Priya shared a glimpse of Miyou and wrote, “Our art of love now has a name. MIYOU — beauty, gentleness & love. With luv, MEER , PRIYA & ATLEE (sic)” The name Miyou, in Japanese, means beautiful and gentle. It is also associated with excellence. The term Mi reportedly signifies beauty whereas Yu or You represents gentleness.

Shah Rukh Khan named Atlee's son Meer

Atlee’s son, Meer, was named by Shah Rukh Khan. The superstar runs an NGO named Meer Foundation as a tribute to his late father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan. The NGO works towards the rehabilitation of Acid Attack survivors.

Atlee's upcoming film

Workwise, Atlee is in the middle of Raaka’s shoot. Allu Arjun’s look from the film was unveiled on his birthday in April. From the first teaser poster, it seems the film will involve shape-shifting creatures and birds. Deepika Padukone has been confirmed to play the female lead in Raaka. Reports state that Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor are also an integral part of the film. The working title was AA22 x A6, which stood for Allu Arjun’s 22nd film and Atlee’s 6th directorial. This project is supposed to be a two-part franchise. Tiger Shroff is also said to be an integral part of the big-ticket actioner. Atlee’s last directorial was Jawan in 2023. The director is coming back to direction with his first film with Allu Arjun. Their maiden movie together promises to be a visual spectacle created with world-class technology that Indian cinema has never experimented with. According to reports, the film's budget is between Rs 700-800 crore.

Update on Jawan 2

There are rumours about Jawan 2 being in the making. As of now, Atlee has not confirmed nor denied the news. At present, Shah Rukh is also working on King, which features him with Deepika.
