Massey is one of the finest actors in Indian cinema. From television to OTT and films, the actor carved a place for himself in different mediums. He has often impressed audiences with his performances in various projects. Last seen in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Vikrant recently joined Times Now's 20th Anniversary Special Broadcast. In conversation with Times Now Group Editor-in-Chief Navika Kumar, the Bollywood actor revealed why he decided to start working at the age of 16. Vikrant clarified that the decision to begin working at a young age wasn't by choice.

In this exclusive interaction, Vikrant mentioned it wasn't his choice to start working at the age of 16, but 'it eventually became his choice'. Looking at it in hindsight, the actor stated he is glad that he made that decision. The actor, who will next be seen in
O'Romeo, added that he hails from a 'regular middle-class family'.
"Hum do, humare do, simple nuclear family from Mumbai. And there were certain constraints which sort of compelled me to step out of the house and support my family. I am glad I did that. The idea was to support myself to begin with. Yeh apna college aur jo chaar shauk apne the, wo poore karne the," he shared.Vikrant added that he wanted to buy a mobile and branded laptop too. "I am also sounding really ancient or I am sounding like a fossil right now. Sony Ericsson ka ek mobile phone aata tha - mujhe wo mobile chahiye tha. I also wanted an Apple laptop. And then I had to go to college, I had to support myself, and I wanted to support my family." That said, Vikrant revealed that he always wanted to be an actor.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vikrant has an exciting lineup of projects ahead. Next, he will be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's O'Romeo. Co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, the romantic thriller is set to release on February 13. Apart from that, he will be seen in Musafir Cafe with Vedika Pinto, and Mahima Makwana. Created by Sharanya Rajgopal, the web series will soon stream on Netflix.
Interestingly, Vikrant has turned a producer with this web show. Besides the primary star cast, the show also stars Adil Hussain, Anubha Fatehpuria, Rajeev Siddhartha, Loveleen Mishra and Sadiya Siddiqui. The web show's OTT release hasn't been announced yet.
