The duo emerged victorious in MTV Splitsvilla X6: Pyaar Ya Paisa Grand Finale, defeating Yogesh and Ruru in a thrilling finale. This season revolved around the unique theme of 'Pyaar Ya Paisa,' forcing contestants to choose between love and money. The season was filled with betrayals, friendships, fights and twists. After all of the mystery and drama, Gullu and Kaira’s journey will be the one that audiences will associate with the season after their win.

Who is Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu?

Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, hails from Gurugram, Haryana. Before becoming a reality show winner, Kushal lived a fairly ordinary life filled with struggles, experimentation, and persistence.According to reports, he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel management from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (IHMCT), Pune, in 2022. However, his journey after graduation was far from smooth.

Coming from a modest background, Kushal reportedly tried several business ventures, including co-founding a cafe. Unfortunately, those efforts did not work out the way he hoped. Eventually, he shifted his focus toward content creation, where his raw humour, relatable personality and grounded nature started gaining attention online.Interestingly, Kushal’s reality TV journey did not begin with success. Back in 2019, he auditioned for MTV Roadies dressed as a fake sheikh. At the time, he was reportedly nervous and lacked confidence. However, instead of giving up, he worked on himself, transformed his personality, and returned years later with a completely different mindset.

That transformation paid off massively in 2025, when he not only entered Roadies again but also went on to win MTV Roadies XX: Double Cross. His back-to-back success continued in Splitsvilla X6, where he once again secured a Ticket To Finale and ultimately won the show.

Who Is Kaira Anu?

Kaira Anu brought a completely different energy to Splitsvilla X6. While many contestants entered the show with prior influencer fame or entertainment backgrounds, Kaira stood out because of her impressive academic achievements and professional career.

At the age of 16, Kaira moved from India to Canada to pursue higher studies. She later completed a degree in biotechnology before graduating in dentistry. Professionally, she works as a dental hygienist. However, academics are only one side of her personality. Kaira is also a professional belly dancer and model, something that added to her impactful presence on the reality show.During the early stages of Splitsvilla X6, Kaira was part of the “Paisa Villa” group before the villas eventually merged. Over the course of the season, she found herself involved in several heated confrontations with contestants like Akanksha Choudhary, Asmita Adhikari and Keona Walke. One of the biggest controversies involving Kaira happened when Mischief Maker Nia Sharma confronted her over comments that were interpreted as body-shaming.

Kaira also wrote emotionally about her Splitsvilla experience after winning the Ticket to Finale. In a social media note, she admitted that she initially believed she would be eliminated within just a few days and return to her regular life in Canada. However, everything changed after she met Kushal. She described how their connection slowly grew amidst the chaos, challenges, and emotional rollercoaster of the competition. “And then… I met him. Someone for whom this wasn’t just a show or a dream - it was his whole life, his passion, his everything,” she wrote.With their victory in MTV Splitsvilla, the duo won the Rs 20 lakh prize money.
