Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Peddi has cleared its censorship formalities ahead of its theatrical release scheduled for June 4. The sports drama, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has been granted a U/A 16+ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). As per reports, the certification was issued on May 22, 2026, and the film has a confirmed runtime of 189 minutes, which is 3 hours and 9 minutes. The duration has also been doing the rounds online following the certification update.

During the review process, the CBFC suggested a few edits to the film. These include the removal of the word “Rajasthan” and a reference to a community, along with the muting or modification of six additional words in the dialogue.Despite these changes, the final runtime of Peddi remains unchanged. The film also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Boman Irani, and Divyenndu in key roles. The film has been backed by Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment.
