Bollywood actor Fatima Sana Shaikh, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming romantic drama Gustaakh Ishq, recently made a sweet and nostalgic revelation during a conversation with Telly Talk India.
The Dangal star recalled having a childhood crush on her mathematics teacher and described how she eagerly waited for his class every day. The candid confession instantly grabbed attention, offering fans a lighter, more personal glimpse into the actor’s early school years.
Fatima's cute childhood crush story
Sharing her memory with a smile, Fatima said, “Mere maths teacher the bachpan mein. To woh jab bhi bell bajti thi to intezaar hota tha ki woh kab segment aayega.” (I had a maths teacher in childhood. Whenever the bell rang, I would wait for when that segment would come.) She continued, “Jab sir aayenge aur baithe rehte the. Dekhte rehte the bas mein to waise bhi main kacchi hoon hi. To matter karta hi nahi tha.” (When sir would arrive and sit, I would just keep looking. Anyway, I was weak in the subject, so it never mattered.)Fatima further shared how even being scolded by him felt enjoyable, saying, “To jab daant khate the to khushi se daantte the. To hum bolte the haan sir daanto chalega.” (So when he scolded me, he did it happily. I would say, yes sir, scolding is fine.) She hilariously added, “Extra extra ring rehne do yaar aap batao. Samajh nahi aa raha sir. Kuch samajh nahi aa raha. Wapas batao na.” (Let the extra bell ring, you tell us. I’m not understanding anything sir. I can’t understand anything. Please explain again.)Watch full chat here:
