Gourav is currently making headlines on the internet after the trailer release of his next film, Tu Yaa Main, with Shanaya Kapoor on January 22, 2026. The young actor impressed fans with his outstanding performances in several films, such as Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, The White Tiger and so on. Adarsh started his career at the age of 16. He got his first opportunity as an actor in Shah Rukh Khan’s 2010 controversial film, My Name Is Khan. Adarsh played the younger version of Shah Rukh Khan’s character, Rizwan Khan, in the Karan Johar-directed film. For the unversed, the film also starred Kajol, Jimmy Shergill, Arjun Mathur, Pravinn Dabas, Arjan Aujla and others in key roles.

Adarsh Gourav was on cloud nine after he got his first acting break in My Name Is Khan. In fact, he played the character, who has Asperger's syndrome, so effortlessly that his brief performance was noticed by all. Despite getting recognition, Adarsh decided to continue his study. Adarsh joined The Drama School in Mumbai to learn the nuances of acting. Apart from acting, Adarsh has also learnt Hindustani classical music for nine years. Many people don’t know that the Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actor was spotted at the Kala Ghoda Art Festival in 2007. He was asked by someone if he wanted to try acting.

About My Name Is Khan

For the unversed, My Name Is Khan was released in 2010. The film received a backlash from the right wing after Shah Rukh Khan criticised IPL clubs for not buying Pakistani cricketers for the third season of the tournament. Shiv Sena members tried to stop the release of My Name Is Khan, but owing to strong police protection, the film successfully ran in theatres and became a hit.

Adarsh Gourav’s next, Tu Yaa Main, is releasing on February 13 in theatres. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the film will clash with the Shahid Kapoor-starrer O Romeo. Coming back to Adarsh Gourav, the actor has earlier worked in films such as Madly, Rukh, Mom, The White Tiger, Woh Bhi Din The, Superboys of Malegaon and so on.
