Hailey Bieber has opened up about her evolving perspective on motherhood and her thoughts on expanding her family with husband Justin Bieber. In a recent interview, she revealed that now she feels “much more prepared” for another child after welcoming her son Jack Blues in August 2024.

Hailey reflects on her first experience of motherhood

In a recent interview with GQ, Hailey admitted that she never initially saw herself becoming a parent. "I don’t think I envisioned myself having kids," she shared. "The older I've gotten and now that I have a kid, I think any decision anyone makes about having them or not having them is totally amazing."Recalling the birth of her first child at the age of 27, Bieber described the experience as “daunting.” She confessed, "I do think there were fears around it. I didn't know what to expect. Once they're here, you just figure it out day by day. Every single day I'm learning about how to be a mom and what's best for my son and what's best for me as a mom."

Hailey feels ready for second baby

Looking to the future, Bieber expressed that she feels far more ready to welcome a second child. "I don’t think there’s anything someone can tell you about it that will ever, ever, ever prepare you until you do it yourself," she told GQ. Acknowledging Support and Work-Life Balance

Hailey also spoke honestly about the support system that helps her balance motherhood and her career. "I do have help. I have full-time help and I’m super not ashamed to say that, and I would never shy away from talking about that because I wouldn't be able to have my career and do the things that I do without the help, and I'm really grateful for that."Discussing their family dynamic, she added, "If he's not with me, he's with his dad. He's always with his family, and he's always with one of us, or with his godparents."

Future Family Goals

Sharing her hopes for the future, Bieber revealed her desire to grow her family. "I know I want more than one," she said. She also reflected on her lifelong dream of motherhood, adding, "I always knew I wanted to be a mom, though.
