A few days ago, Ektaa Kapoor welcomed Akashdeep to Naagin 7 by sharing a story on her Instagram handle. And now, in an exclusive interview with Zoom, Akashdeep has opened up about his comeback. In conversation with us, the actor revealed why he decided to return with Naagin 7. Akashdeep stated that when Ektaa spoke to him, it felt instinctive rather than strategic.

Speaking exclusively to us about his acting comeback, Akashdeep said, "Well, it's exciting firstly and grounded at the same time. Naagin has a massive reach. But what really matters is the storytelling and Ektaa's instinct. She knows exactly when a character needs to enter a narrative. So, I can only say that when I was contacted, it was more of like realignment with her. Because we already share a good bond, and I respect her a lot."

The actor further mentioned, "So Naagin after so many years, if you ask me, I can only say that because the timing felt right. I wasn't chasing a comeback, but I can say I was waiting for an alignment. When Ektaa spoke, it felt instinctive rather than strategic."

When Akashdeep was asked about his character in Naagin 7, the actor told Zoom, "Well, I can't reveal much at this time, but it's intense, layered and rooted. Naagin isn't just fantasy. There is emotion, power, mythology, which I have always connected with."Apart from hinting about his character in Naagin 7, Akashdeep spoke about his bond with Ektaa Kapoor. The actor revealed how their reunion was like.

Spilling beans about his reunion with Ektaa, the actor said, "There are some bonds which are creative bonds. They just don't vanish overnight. We've always had that bond. And when we met, it was so pure. It was so spiritual. At the same time, it was aligned. We have that thing, and I trust her instinct 100% with everything."

On a concluding note, Akashdeep mentioned, "And at this juncture where I am today, I feel that it was just the right time. Coming back, it was not intentional. I was exploring life beyond camera also before this. I was writing, reflecting and working on something deeply spiritual and personal. So, this whole phase is just proper alignment.
