Shah Rukh Khan's Jailer 2 role details revealed?
According to Hindustan Times, Shah Rukh's character steps in Jailer 2 when Rajinikanth's characters calls him in situation of dire need. Both actors are expected to be seen in the same frame, delivering a powerful performance. "Shah Rukh plays the role of Rajinikanth’s close friend and confidante, whom he trusts with his life," a source told the news publication.
As of now, the last leg of Jailer 2 is reportedly being completed in Chennai. That said, Shah Rukh's cameo has apparently not been shot yet. The makers have reportedly got a separate date to shoot SRK's part, which is expected to take place later this month.

Written and directed by Nelson, this film also marks Vidya Balan's Tamil debut. Rajinikanth will be reprising his role of Muthuvel Pandian. On the other hand, the movie's star cast also includes Mitthun Chakraborty, SJ Suryah, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa and Anna Rajan. Besides SRK, Mohanlal, Vijay Sethupathi, Shiva Rajkumar and Vinayakan are expected to have cameo appearances in the action comedy.
Shah Rukh Khan's work front
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. The actor had three major releases in 2023. He made his grand comeback to movies with Siddharth Anand's Pathaan with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Later, he featured in Atlee's Jawan. While all three of his films worked well, Dunki earned less compared to Pathaan and Jawan at the box office.
Next up, SRK will be seen in Siddharth's
King. The film, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, is set for December 24 release. King Khan will share screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan and Deepika Padukone in the action thriller. It is Suhana's big screen debut.
