According to court documents obtained by TMZ,
Sabrina Carpenter filed for a restraining order against a 31-year-old man identified as William Applegate. Carpenter allegedly claimed the incidents unfolded over multiple days and left her feeling “deeply alarmed” and unsafe.The filing reportedly includes images captured from the singer’s Ring camera, showing the man outside her front door. Carpenter claimed the individual appeared uninvited and allegedly attempted to approach the property despite being confronted by security personnel. In her declaration, the singer reportedly stated, “William Applegate is a complete stranger to me. I have never met him or communicated with him in any way.”
According to information received, the situation became more complicated when the man returned shortly after the police had previously intervened, forcing Carpenter and his team to seek immediate court protection. A temporary restraining order has now reportedly been granted, requiring the accused to stay away from Carpenter, her sister Sarah, and her sister’s boyfriend, George. A hearing later this month will determine whether the order becomes permanent.
