Dhurandhar box office collection: Dhurandhar's box office records continue to swell even as the movie completes its third week. After the Aditya Dhar film surpassed Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava to become 2025's biggest grosser, it also overthrew Stree 2, the massive blockbuster of 2024. On December 25, industry reports came in that Dhurandhar has earned over Rs 600 crore at the box office, shattering Chhaava's lifetime record. Hours later, it was confirmed that it had taken over the lifetime business of Stree 2, thus, becoming the second-highest-grossing film in the history of Hindi cinema. It now faces Pushpa 2's Hindi version to become the all-time highest grosser. The Allu Arjun starrer is a Telugu film which released in multiple languages:

Dhurandhar is a theatrical storm
Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utekar, is a biographical historical drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. It minted Rs 601.54 crore at the box office in India. According to Sacnilk,
Dhurandhar earned Rs 17.75 crore on Day 20 (December 24). This takes Ranveer Singh's film to Rs 607.25 crore.
Stree 2 finished its run with an estimated Rs 627.50 crores net. JioStudios confirmed that
Dhurandhar has crossed Rs 640.20 crore by December 25. Meanwhile,
Pushpa 2: The Rule became the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time in India, by crossing Rs 800 crore net in Hindi alone, thus breaking records and surpassing previous blockbusters like
Baahubali 2 and
Jawan. It became the first Hindi film to enter the Rs 800 crore club and the overall highest-grossing Indian film domestically.
Dhurandhar's unstoppable pace
As per current trends,
Dhurandhar could possibly overtake
Pushpa 2 too. Also given it still has almost a month until it premiers on Netflix on January 30, 2026, the following days gives it a window to race towards overthrowing
Pushpa 2, and emerge the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time in India.
