Splitsvilla 16's Ron On 'Fake' Allegations In Relationship With Asmita, Why Things Got Ugly - Exclusive

Several contestants such as Anuska Ghosh and Himanshu Arora had shared their versions of what went down. Now it's the turn of Ron, who is opening up about his relationship with Asmita Adhikari on the show. While the contestant tackled it all in a tell-all interview with Zoom, he revealed that his relationship ended because it was very one-sided. It was he who had been pushing it forward and when he could step back, it failed.

Ron on why his relationship with Asmita didn't work out

Speaking with Zoom, Ron shared that he had been through much worse in his life. He candidly addressed the allegations of being fake by Asmita and said, "I've seen a lot of problems in my life. This is not that big, I feel. It's one relationship that didn't end up working, the baseline of what I'm trying to say. When two people don't like each other, a relationship falls off; that person's perspective will be that he had these failings and I also can say from my perspective that she had these failings and what not."

The reality TV star went on to say, "But at the end of the day, I know that she's also a complete person and I'm also a complete person. There is someone who will care and value her as a proper and ideal partner. Someone who will care and value me as well. This is what happened and despite saying this... I look at the audience's reaction for everything. No matter how cool and calm I look on the outside, now I am always up to date on what's happening. What are people saying? Because it is an important thing for me. Tomorrow, if I become an actor, my audience will only give me money. These are my people so I have to listen to them and take in those inputs." Ron also felt that he had done everything on his side to make the relationship work. He added, "After I came out, I didn't plan to take the relationship ahead, because by the time I came out, the 40-day relationship was enough. But I came to realise that for her, a guy like me should stay back; then the effort needs to go in. It felt very one-sided. When I stepped away from it, things got ugly. I was the one who was propelling the relationship forward. When I cut it, the relationship failed; that's it.
