It’s been only a few hours since the screenings have begun but X is filled with love and appreciation for the film as one called it a comeback for sandalwood star Dhruva Sarja.

The film received love for brilliance in songs which are visually rich and especially the BGM which one called ‘blasting’ and crazy work by Arjun Janya.

KD: The Devil is set in 1970s of Bangalore, the film follows the story of Kaali (Dhruva Sarja), a criminal who delves deeper into the underworld as he encounters other thugs. Following the gritty action-drama filled with violence the film includes an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Reeshma Nanaiah, Shilpa Shetty, Sudeep, V Ravichandran, Nora Fatehi and many others.
The film, before its release, sparked controversies. The trailer of the film was removed from YouTube after claims of uncertified content and the release of Nora Fatehi’s song. The song was widely criticised for its suggestive lyrics. The star cast came in support of the director, where Sanjay Dutt apologised for the row and Sudeep convinced the audience amid heavy trolling. Despite this fact, the film has witnessed a huge turnout on release day.
