Avengers: Doomsday might still be a year away, but major updates about the Russo Brothers directorial have started coming in. Even before the first trailer of the big Marvel movie gets unveiled along with
James Cameron's latest Avatar: Fire And Ash that releases on December 19, a new detail has surfaced. This adds to the excitement of seeing Robert Downey Jr returning to the MCU in a new character of Doctor Doom, apart from several teams like Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men and more reuniting for a major showdown.
Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer runtime
On December 9, a piece of information started doing the rounds with regard to the upcoming trailer's runtime. In a grab floating on the internet, we see the South Korea's Media Rating Board having listed its running time as 1 minute and 25 seconds. The board is an official service used by studios to register and approve trailers before they are released online. The listing further states that
Avengers: Doomsday trailer has been granted a U/A (all ages) certification. Given that this is the movie's first look teaser trailer, the makers have kept its runtime longer than usual Disney films in recent times, like for the live-action
Moana, The Devil Wears Prada 2, and
Toy Story 5, which dropped their first looks mostly under 50 seconds.
What does internet think?
Netizens did not wait in posting reactions on social media. A user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "feels like the kind of trailer that changes the room before it even ends" A second one said, "If this trailer is really 1:25 long, Marvel better have EVERY second on demon time" A third one posted, "1:25 trailer tomorrow and RDJ Doom hasn’t even spoken a single word yet… Marvel is about to break the internet for the first time since 2018. Lock in."
