His shows always sell out nationally and internationally. People gather in large numbers to enjoy Diljit's live performance. At one of his recent concerts, fans did end up enjoying his performance. However, a few people disrupted the singer's concert by raising flags against Diljit. This led to the singer losing his cool and slamming them.
Why did Diljit Dosanjh lash out at protestors?
A video from Diljit's international concert has gone viral on social media. According to DNA, in the video, Diljit lashed out at some attendees who raised flags and protested against him. That said, the exact reason of protest isn't known; however, it has been reported that some people were upset with his appearance on The Tonight Show with
Jimmy Fallon and him avoiding a visit to Punjab during floods.
Responding to those who protested, Diljit stated that he went to a show, where he promoted his state instead of his films and songs. Dosanjh also revealed that his team provided required help to the flood-affected areas in Punjab. Diljit admitted love for his state, adding he always talks about Punjab at whichever platform he goes. "The channels I go to, I talk about Punjab. I didn't talk about my songs. I didn't promote anything. I went to that channel for the sake of Punjab. Jitne jhande dikhane, dikhao," he strongly remarked. For the unversed, the singer recently made his second appearance on Jimmy Fallon's chat show. His first was appearance in 2024, when he was introduced as the biggest Punjabi artist on the planet.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Diljit was last seen in Anurag Singh's war drama, Border 2. The actor starred alongside Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Mona Singh, Medha Rana, and others. It was a sequel to JP Dutta's iconic 1997 film, Border.
Next up, the actor will be seen in director Imtiaz Ali's period romantic drama,
Main Vaapas Aaunga. Co-starring Vedang Raina, Sharvari, and Naseeruddin Shah, the film is scheduled to release on June 12. It has been produced by Applause Entertainment and Window Seat Films. This projects marks Diljit's reunion with Imtiaz after the success of their Netflix film, Amar Singh Chamkila.
