Tatum, one of the top Hollywood actors, has been back in the headlines ever since he shared a picture of himself from the hospital, leaving fans worried. The 45-year-old star, known for his roles in Magic Mike and various other critically acclaimed films, has announced that he is currently admitted for shoulder surgery due to a serious injury. Sharing a snap from his hospital bed, he shared an uplifting message and wrote, "Just another day. Another challenge. This one is gonna be hard. But whatever. Let’s get it in."

Fans have flooded the comment section with heart emojis and get well soon messages. Tatum’s girlfriend, Australian model Inka Williams, added, 'Big bad wolf, we got disss.' The actor also took to his Instagram stories the before and after of his suregery.

In the first of two photos, Tatum shared an X-ray of his shoulder blade and collarbone with the words 'Separated shoulder' on it. The second image was a post-surgery snap of the same area, this time with a very visible large screw now in place holding the bones together. 'Screwed shoulder. Yay,' he wrote. The star of Roofman did not clarify the circumstances or timing of the injury, but his social media post elicited concern and support from both fans and fellow actors.

This is not the first time he has injured himself recently. The 21 Jump Street star revealed in a September 2025 with Variety that he suffered an injury on the set of Avengers: Doomsday that left him with 'a limp.' Tatum is to reprise his Deadpool vs. Wolverine role as Gambit/Remy LeBeau in the upcoming Marvel flick. On the personal front, Tatum is in a relationship with Australian model Inka Williams, 26, who is nearly 20 years younger than him. He is a father of 12-year-old daughter named Everly with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan, whom he met while filming the 2006 movie Step Up.
