KPop DemoN Hunters gets 2 nods in Oscars 2024

Taking to X, Netflix announced, "POP DEMON HUNTERS OSCAR NOMINEES. KPOP DEMON HUNTERS, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, has earned an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film! Starring Arden Cho, May Hong, and Ji-young Yoo. Featuring the singing voices of EJAE, REI AMI, and AUDREY NUNA."

The song Golden, which was nominated, was written by EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick, DO, and Teddy Park. It was performed by Huntr/x with vocals by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. The song plays during a key scene where the group tries to seal the Golden Honmoon, and it also reveals an important truth about Rumi's identity.In the animation category, the movie will have to compete with Arco, Elio, Little Amélie or the Character of Rain, and Zootopia 2.
