Vedang Raina Explains The Meaning Of Benching

During a candid chat with us, Imtiaz Ali was asked about the Gen-Z term 'benching'. He didn’t know the exact meaning of it but gave a simple answer. He said, “It means to keep the options open.” When asked Vedang Raina about it, he said that it is wrong when a person is in a relationship. He further stated that it will be okay if a person is in an arranged marriage. Sharvari got carried away by his statement and said that Vedang got it wrong. Eventually, Sharvari explained to Vedang the real meaning of benching. After learning about it, the actor quickly said that it is cheating. Vedang Raina said, “Benching is moral cheating.”

Imtiaz Ali also joined the conversation and said that such things used to happen in the past as well. He cited an example of a growing population in the country. Sharvari and Vedang laughed at the director’s funny statement.
