Keeping all that in mind, if everything goes seamlessly, then the service will be launched for commercial use in India in the first quarter of 2026. Starlink will definitely change the way people enjoy the internet and make it a seamless service, especially in regions where there is no connectivity. As per the approval from the Indian government, the Starlink satellite internet service can have only 20,00,000 connections in India in order to maintain fairness and balance against the Indian telco players. As for the speeds, the service will have a speed ranging from 25Mbps to 225Mbps. Speculations are that the starting plan will have 25Mbps speed, and the top-end plan from the service will have 225Mbps.
