Grok is again in the limelight, this time for its responses related to the recent Bondi Beach shooting massacre that took place in Sydney, as reported by Gizmodo. The AI chatbot by Elon Musk responded
to the questions related to shooting with incorrect and irrelevant answers. For example, when one of the users asked Grok to explain a video showing Al Ahmed, one of the assailants, facing off the shooter, both gave a messed-up response. It said, 'This appears to be an old viral video of a man climbing a palm tree in a parking lot, possibly to trim it, resulting in a branch falling and damaging a parked car. Searches across sources show no verified location, date, or injuries. It may be staged; authenticity is uncertain.'And this is not it, as both claimed that the photo of the injured Al Ahmed was of an Israeli hostage taken by Hamas on October 7. Furthermore, Grok said, on the video showing a shootout between police and assailants, that this is from Tropical Cyclone Alfred that impacted Australia last year.
