Meta has been acing it in the smart glasses segment for a considerable time now. In a recent development, it has been revealed that the Facebook-parent company is working on an AI pendant. According to a report published by The Information, Meta is working on a subscription-based service dubbed 'Wearables for Work' which will be focused on enterprise adoption. The report says that Meta is building an AI pendant, and the device will be acting as a personal AI assistant that will be able to summarise daily interactions of users and skyrocket their productivity. What Is Wearables For Work?

Mark Zuckerberg's Meta is prepping to drop a business-centric subscription service created to integrate AI wearables into workplace productivity. The program will kick of with pilot tests at massive organisations. Meta is planning to deploy around 100 devices at each of the selected organizations. Apart from that, the company is eyeing to sell up yo 10 million wearables in the second half of 2026, along with increasing their reach to more countries as well.

Keeping the smart AI pendant aside, Meta is also setting up the stage to launch four new smart glasses by the end of 2026. It is being said that the Modelo will be launched in June, Luna and RBM2 Refresh in Fall, Mojito CIP in December 2026. That being said, future prototypes like Artemis and SSD (supersensing glasses) are also in development by Meta's AI models and its upcoming agent Hatch.
