Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo, known for film franchise The Mummy will be seen against Vijay Deverakonda in his upcoming film Ranabaali, to be released on September 11. The title of this film was announced
on the occasion of Republic Day yesterday (Monday). Arnold will be making his Bollywood debut with this to depict the key role of British Raj officer, Sir Theodore Hector as the antagonist. The Telugu film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar. Streaming platform Netflix has already acquired the digital rights for Ranabaali. Let us get to know more about Arnold Vosloo!
Arnold Vosloo's early life
Arnold Vosloo grew up in Pretoria surrounded by theatre and performances. Both his parents were stage actors, and his father also managed a drive-in theatre in Alberton, Gauteng. He has one sister. After finishing high school and completing military service, he enrolled in drama courses at Technikon Pretoria.

Arnold Vosloo started his career through stage performances before appearing in South African films like
Boetie Gaan Border Toe (1984). In the late 1980s, he moved to the United States, where his career took a major turn. He went on to become widely known for playing memorable villains, especially his iconic role as Imhotep in
The Mummy (1999) and
The Mummy Returns (2001).
