In
between Seasons 2 and 3, Euphoria lost several key members of its cast and crew. In 2023, actor Angus Cloud died of an overdose, while executive producer Kevin Turen died of a cardiac emergency that same year. Eric Dane, who had been battling ALS since last year, died on February 19, this year. As the third season premiered its first episode on HBO, the show, created by Sam Levinson, remembered its own with an 'in memoriam' section in the end credits. Starring Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi, Euphoria returned to TV with a five-year time jump.
Euphoria Season 3 'In Memoriam' tribute
On April 12, after the premiere of its first episode called
Ándale, Euphoria ended on a black screen that paid tribute to Cloud, Dane and Turen. For each fallen member, the show dedicated an 'in memoriam' credit.
Grey's Anatomy actor Dane was able to record his scenes in the third season before his death. He plays Cal, father to Nate (Elordi), who is hiding a complicated sexual history as a bisexual. He has also hooked up with Jules (Hunter Schafer), Nate's classmate.
Creator Levinson remembered Dane after his death in February and shared that he was heartbroken by his loss. He said that being Dane's friend was a gift. Cloud, who had never acted before
Euphoria, was one of the breakout stars of the show. His character Fezco was a drug dealer but he was also friends with two of the main characters Rue (Zendaya) and Lexi (Maude Apatow).
Cloud died from an accidental drug overdose and was mourned by his
Euphoria cast and crew. In the Season 3 premiere, Fezco is mentioned as being alive. His character has been sentenced to 30 years in prison and Rue tells his former girlfriend Lexi that she should give him a call.
The final tribute in the 'in memoriam' belongs to executive producer Turen. He and Levinson are co-founders of Little Lamb Productions which produces the show. Turen had also produced Levinson's other show

Assassination Nation (2018) and
Malcolm & Marie (2021). The producer had a cardiac emergency while driving on November 12, 2023, a few months after Cloud's death in August.
Euphoria Season 3 release date in India
In
India, the drama series is releasing a few days later. The Zendaya starrer will be available to stream on April 15, 2026, on JioHotstar, with episodes releasing weekly on Wednesdays until the first week of June.
