About Raaka
Adding to the birthday excitement, the makers unveiled the title and first-look poster of Arjun’s upcoming film Raaka. Directed by Atlee and produced by Sun Pictures, the film promises to be a large-scale cinematic experience. The poster features Arjun, whose partial visible face looks furry, he is seen showing a sharp claw.. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, marking her first collaboration with the actor. Atlee described the project as a deeply personal one, revealing that he had carried the idea for nearly 18 years.
In October last year, when Atlee directed Ranveer Singh in an advertisement, the actor spoke to the press about the film. He said it was always a great experience working with Atlee and his team. He also mentioned visiting the set of the director’s current project while his wife was there, adding that Atlee is creating something truly unprecedented in Indian cinema.Beyond Raaka, Arjun has an exciting slate of projects lined up. One of the most anticipated is his collaboration with Lokesh Kanagaraj, tentatively titled AA23 (LK7). The film is expected to go on floors in 2026.
