Kumar is coming up with a horror comedy film, Bhooth Bangla, which is releasing in theatres on April 17, 2026. Before its release, some paid previews have been arranged in several theatres at 9 pm on April 16. The buzz around Bhooth Bangla is very strong; hence, the makers hosted a special screening for the Priyadarshan-directed film on April 15 in Mumbai. Several celebrities from Bollywood and television came to watch the Akshay Kumar-starrer before its release on the big screen. It has to be noted that some of the celebs exuded glamour on the red carpet of the event.
Celebs Attend Bhooth Bangla Screening In Style
Tabu, who is playing a dynamic role in
Bhooth Bangla, graced the event in a beautiful green dress with golden detailing. It paired with a matching designer dupatta. The diva looked elegant in her stylish outfit.
Wamiqa Gabbi, who is also playing a key role in Bhooth Bangla, attended the event in a black sequinned dress that has a bold slit at the back. She grabbed everyone’s attention with an amazing look.
Rajpal Yadav, who is adding a comic touch to Bhooth Bangla, kept his outfit casual yet stylish. He looked dapper in a beige t-shirt paired with a matching jacket, white trousers and white shoes.
Tamannaah Bhatia, who will next be in Ekta Kapoor-produced film, Vvan, has come to root for Bhooth Bangla in a blackish-grey dress layered with a coat. Her hair neatly tied in a bun completed her stylish look.
Apart from these celebrities, Govinda’s son Yashvardhan, Ekta Kapoor, Arjun Bijlani and others were also present at the screening. Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan were missing from the event.
About Bhooth Bangla
Bhooth Bangla marks a collaboration of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan after 14 years. They have earlier worked together on films like Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan and Khatta Meetha. Coming back to Bhooth Bangla, the film also features Paresh Rawal, Rajesh Sharma and late actor Asrani. Akshay Kumar has said that Bhooth Bangla will be a tribute to Asrani, as he passed away on October 20, 2025. After Bhooth Bangla, Akshay will also be seen in Priyadarshan’s yet another directorial venture, Haiwaan, alongside Saif Ali Khan. On the professional front, Khiladi Kumar will be seen playing the role of antagonist in Golmaal 5, which is being helmed by Rohit Shetty. The actor is also a part of Welcome To The Jungle.
