Boss Tamil and Bigg Boss Ultimate contestant Julie, who is also known as Maria Juliana, has filed a complaint with the Chennai police after she was severely trolled due to kidney scam allegations. The former nurse also shared that she filed another complaint in March against eight people who she claims are Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay fans and supporters of his party, Thamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). Julie also went on to claim at a press conference that she suffered a miscarriage due to the online harassment she faced. Veteran actress Ambika and other Thalapathy Vijay fans have also reacted to Julie's accusations online.

Julie claims she suffered a miscarriage after online trolling by Vijay fans

The reality TV star shared that she received a notice that her complaint would be a civil defamation not criminal. Julie questioned the timing of the notice and also alleged that a Rs 15 lakh kidney scam also came up against her. In a press conference, Julie alleged that her complaint was being ignored because the eight people she was accusing were Vijay fans. In her shocking claim at the press meet, Julie stated, "Vijay anna is responsible for me losing my child. He might not have done it directly." She shared that if Vijay had asked his supporters to back off, she might not have had a miscarriage. Julie recalled that she lost her baby after she just got married in January. Her miscarriage was due to "severe mental anguish caused by online harassment."

The Bigg Boss contestant also said that defamatory and derogatory remarks were being made about her husband Mohamed Ikreem and her. However, when it was pointed out that she had filed these complaints when Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) was in power and Vijay had become the chief minister recently in May. Julie, who is a DMK supporter, replied, "I am speaking because this happened to me now,” she said.

Veteran actress Ambika questions Julie's allegations

On X, actress Ambika wrote to Julie, sympathised with her loss but questioned the former nurse on her methods. She shared that her statement was unethical and asked how CM Vijay could be the reason behind her miscarriage.

Ambika felt Julie was rude and used bad language to disrespect the chief minister. Online, Vijay's fans asked why she was blaming the Tamil actor-turned politician. Besides Bigg Boss, Julie has been the host of the dance show Odi Vilayadu Paapa and appeared in the Tamil film Naan Sirithal (2020).
