Jana Nayagan: A Remake of Bhagavanth Kesari?
In a recent chat, director H. Vinoth neither confirmed nor denied the speculations while reiterating what he revealed during the audio launch. Speaking to
Ananda Vikatan magazine, the filmmaker said, “A lot of reports are coming in that the film is inspired by
Bhagavanth Kesari or is a remake of it. What I would like to say to fans is that you don’t have to worry about it," he remarked, adding, “For now, I cannot say if
Jana Nayagan is a remake of
Bhagavanth Kesari or not. Those who think it is a remake and question why they have to watch it again, I suggest you wait until the first show ends. You will get the answer then. The trailer and songs will also give you further clarity. But what I can say is that it is a Thalapathy film.”
