In Apple TV's The Family Plan 2, Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan return as the Morgans. This time, they're crossing the pond to go spend the holidays in London, England, only to find a past figure,
played by Kit Harington, from Dan's life as a former assassin reemerge. But the resourceful Morgans take it in their stride to fight back and stage their own mission. Wahlberg and Monaghan spoke about reuniting for the sequel and how they feel comfortable working again on this latest film.
Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan on chemistry and compatibility
In an interview with
Zoom, Wahlberg, who plays Dan Morgan, shared, "On chemistry, you either have it or you don't, but I'm so fond of Michelle. I enjoy working with her so much. She brings an energy and an excitement and appreciation for the opportunity to be making movies and be working every day. She's just a light that really kind of gets everybody feeling in a positive, grateful attitude as well. I thoroughly enjoy working with her."

Monaghan echoed the same sentiment as she said, "We're both really appreciative of our careers and collaborations. But this family was really well cast. Mark and I worked together before, so we were excited to collaborate again. But the kids are so wonderful. I think we have a wonderful family dynamic, one that all families can relate to, and I think with The Family Plan 2, with the addition of Kit Harington and Reda Elazouar, they just became additive in terms of what the family kind of represents, the tone, and their chemistry. I feel very lucky that we all just jive together very well."

Patriots Day. The actress added, "Mark and I are so similar that I don't think either of us really studied acting. I think we were fortunate to have opportunities just kind of presented to us. I think we're both yes people and say, 'Okay, I'm going to put my best foot forward and explore all of these kind of aspects of my career.' So I'm very intentional with trying to do a 180 from everything that I've done prior to this."
The Family Plan 2 also stars Van Crosby and Nina Colletti as the Morgan children. Directed by Simon Cellan Jones, the sequel has been written by David Coggeshall.
