Adding to the high-stakes mission is Bollywood film director Anurag Kashyap, who plays the antagonist in the film.

Taking to social media, the makers Annapurna Studios shared the teaser with the caption "A racy glimpse into the world of #Dacoit with a new twist to #DacoitTeaser out now in Telugu #DACOIT GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON MARCH 19th, 2026 in Hindi & Telugu."Adding a fun twist in the teaser is the use of techno-remix version of ‘Kannupattero Kannukottaro’, the popular song from Nagarjuna's film Hello Brother.

Launching the teaser in Mumbai and Hyderabad on the same day is hectic, but it reflects how strongly I feel about this project. Dacoit is not just an action film; it carries emotion, conflict, and a vision that I want audiences in both Hindi and Telugu to experience together.”Dacoit is directed by Shaneil Deo, and bankrolled under SS Creations and Suniel Narang Production banners. Shaneil Deo has penned the screenplay in collaboration with Adivi Sesh. Abburi Ravi has been credited for script guidance and Telugu dialogues.
