Bhakti Chauhan is currently seen in Dangal TV’s brand new show, Shrimati Shukla. The show’s promos received a positive response from the masses. However, some netizens compared it to Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa.

Recently, in an exclusive interaction with Zoom/Telly Talk India, Bhakti Chauhan broke her silence on the comparison.

During a candid chat with us, when asked about Shrimati Shukla being compared to Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa, Bhakti Chauhan stated that her show is different from the Rajan Shahi-produced show.

Bhakti confessed, “My character in Shrimati Shukla is different from Anupamaa. The promo may be misleading to you. When you see the episode, you will see a different character than Anupamaa. When asked if any of her Anupamaa co-stars reacted to the promos of Shrimati Shukla, Bhakti said that they didn’t, but they still remember her. The actress also clarified that she didn’t spend much time on the sets of Anupamaa, as her character was for a very limited period of time.
