Doshi and Abhishek Kumar are currently seen in a new web show, Ishk Dum Idli Rasam, which is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Surbhi Chandna and her husband Karan R Sharma. Abhishek and Shiny are playing the roles of Arjun and Meera in the show. Before Abhishek Kumar, Shoaib Ibrahim was initially cast for the role of Arjun in the show. However, he was later replaced by the Udaariyaan star. Recently, in an exclusive interaction with Zoom/Telly Talk India, Shiny Doshi shared an unknown story behind Shoaib Ibrahim’s replacement in Ishk Dum Idli Rasam. Abhishek Kumar also gave a shocking reaction to it.
A Story Behind Shoaib Ibrahim’s Ouster From Ishk Dum Idli Rasam
During a candid chat with us, we asked Abhishek Kumar about him replacing Shoaib Ibrahim in Ishk Dum Idli Rasam. The Bigg Boss 17 runner-up said, “I didn’t know much about Shoaib Ibrahim’s replacement in the show. I knew that Shoaib was doing the show. But suddenly, the makers approached me for the same. I was just told about the character. I liked my character. I was getting a chance to play different characters in the show. Also, I got a chance to share screen space with Shiny Doshi, who is a big star in the TV industry. The show was in my destiny.” Shiny Doshi also talked about the replacement and shared an unknown story behind Shoaib Ibrahim’s replacement. She said, “Shoaib is a fabulous actor. I met him twice and thrice. We also did reading for the show. However, things changed. It was a mutual decision taken by the makers and Shoaib.”
For the unversed, Shoaib Ibrahim is a popular TV actor and the husband of Dipika Kakar. He is very active on social media and often shares his vlogs on his YouTube channel.
Abhishek And Shiny’s Friendship
Coming back to Abhishek Kumar and Shiny Doshi, the duo bonded well on the sets of the show. They have also done some cosy scenes together. Shiny Doshi praised Abhishek’s dedication and commitment towards his work. On the other hand, Abhishek Kumar showered praises on Shiny Doshi and said that she is one of the hardest-working actresses in Indian television. On the professional front, Abhishek is also doing Laughter Chefs 3 with Samarth Jurel. Shiny has earlier worked in shows like Saraswatichandra, Pandya Store and so on.
