Ahead of the series which will now center on Benedict Bridgerton’s long-awaited love story with Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha, an interview of Luke Thompson, known for his role as Benedict Bridgerton is making rounds on the internet where he reveals his Indian origin, explaining how he wants to visit the country and has heard a lot about it culture. For the unversed, the brand new installment will be releasing in two parts on Netflix, first on January 29 and second on February 26, 2026.
Luke Thompson has Indian origin
Luke Thompson has recently revealed that he is a 'quarter Indian' since his grandmother is from Indian. And that's how he told Sakshma Srivastav, "So it would be lovely to come and meet my Indian fans one day." This made fans surprised and excited on the news and are now eagerly waiting for their Benedict to made a India visit.
When and where to watch Bridgerton season 4
Bridgerton Season 4 is set to arrive on Netflix in two parts. The first four episodes will premiere on January 29, 2026, followed by the remaining four on February 26, continuing Netflix’s recent split-release strategy. Luke Thompson returns as Benedict Bridgerton, with Yerin Ha joining the series as Sophie Baek. The duo has been travelling across the globe to promote the new season. Fan favourites are also making a comeback, including Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton as Penelope and Colin, and Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley as Anthony and Kate.
The familiar Bridgerton household remains intact with Ruth Gemmell, Claudia Jessie, Florence Hunt, and Will Tilston returning. Hannah Dodd is back as Francesca Bridgerton, joined by Victor Alli as her husband Lord John Stirling, while Masali Baduza continues her role as Michaela Stirling after her season 3 introduction.
New cast in the season
Season 4 also introduces new characters. Michelle Mao plays Rosamund Li, a beautiful and ambitious woman who sets her sights on Benedict. Isabella Wei portrays her kinder sister, Posy Li, while Katie Leung joins the cast as their mother, Lady Araminta Gun, a woman under pressure to secure a marriage for her daughters.
